!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!

The pictures look good on my phone but not so much on a large screen. Also, the camera on my phone is really bad despite 13 megapixels. Sorry about that. I’m planning on visiting the Sinsheim technical museum and the Porsche museum this summer. This time definitely with a proper camera.

Me and my friend went in 2013, that’s me in the blue shirt. I really enjoyed that museum, so much more than the Porsche museum.

Looks like that was where the E-Classes are now. I wish I had seen the S-Classes because I’m a sucker for them. I still want to visit the Porsche museum as well as BMW world.

I think we went on the day they opened that S-Class exhibit up, they had just revealed the new S-Class so it was part of that.

Cool stuff, you got to sit in a W213, yay. First time I went to the museum, my camera battery died and I only had my phone - if you think yours is bad, imagine it with a camera from the oughts.

I like the W110 Universal, that exhibit wasn’t there when I was last there - the special theme then was C111. Always cool to see the competition cars too, they kind of look like toys as the scale is hard to judge in that room.

If you hang around the street that ends at the factory, near the museum, you can sometimes spot a masked prototype driving around.

Sinsheim is definitely worth the trip. I spent most of a day there.

I absolutely loved it and definitely want to go again some time next year. What I thought was neat is that they also showed large trucks and vans as well as scale models and miscellaneous stuff. I didn’t see any pre-production cars sadly but some other nice cars on the parking lot and some vintage Benzes in front of the museum. The new E-Class was as good as I expected it but not so much in basic trim. If I were to order on I’d definitely get the large screen which looked great. One downside though was the rear seat which I found to be rather... small I guess.

All in all this was definitely worth it and a steal for €4-€8 admission.
